Lagune

The 1,200-square-metre lagoon is a particularly magical place and was designed by renowned landscape architect Made Wijaya (Michael White, 1953–2016). The Australian-born designer and artist lived in Bali from 1973, published numerous books on tropical garden design and architecture, and designed over 600 gardens around the world. He designed luxury hotel complexes in Mumbai, Sanur, Singapore and Jimbaran. Made Wijaya has also designed gardens for superstars such as music legend David Bowie and multi-Oscar-winning director Francis Ford Coppola.
