The 1,200-square-metre lagoon is a particularly magical place and was designed by renowned landscape architect Made Wijaya (Michael White, 1953–2016). The Australian-born designer and artist lived in Bali from 1973, published numerous books on tropical garden design and architecture, and designed over 600 gardens around the world.
