The feeding of stray and exhausted bat boulders takes place irregularly on weekdays at 2 p.m. in the bat emergency care station of the Bat Protection Foundation in Zoolino. Please note the instructions for implementation. In January and February, you can also be present at the feeding of the winter pets on selected dates.

It serves modern Swiss specialities in a cosy atmosphere and with a fantastic view of the Glatt Valley. The Masoala restaurant (self-service) offers traditional dishes and exotic dishes such as our Masoala curry, with the best view of the Masoala rainforest. From 10 a.m., guests will find a selection of salads, sandwiches, desserts and baked goods at the cold buffet.

The porcupines are the secret stars of the Kopje rocks – and you can feed them at certain times. Feeding takes place under professional supervision and with the help of the volunteer team of Zoo Zurich (FTZ) at the time indicated on the ticket.

The Thailodge in the Kaeng Krachan Elephant Park is one of the event locations that can be booked exclusively as a group of 30 or more people. Otherwise, there is a brunch there on Sundays, which offers a classic European breakfast followed by a Thai lunch buffet.

The eight different food stalls distributed throughout the zoo offer you snacks and drinks as a little refreshment during your visit to the zoo.
