Eurosat Coastiality - The Phantom of the Opera invites you to an immersive VR adventure. At the heart of this gripping story is the spirit of the Parisian "Opéra Populaire", whose fascinating history is now brought to life at Europa-Park. The Phantom of the Opera lives in hiding, hiding his masked face from the world. But when the young soprano Christine enters his life, fate takes its course. You can experience the mystery and intrigue of this poignant love story, coupled with the thrill of a roller coaster ride. This new virtual reality adventure in the French themed area on Eurosat Coastiality has been equipped with Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical classic "The Phantom of the Opera". To enable the innovative ride pleasure, a separate station with shunting track and separate trains was integrated into the roller coaster. As a result, there are two attractions in one ride that use the same route. With this concept, Europa-Park offers its visitors a virtual reality experience that is unique in the world. All passengers put on the VR headset before the actual VR roller coaster ride in a pre-show room. The real, physical environment is recreated exactly in virtual reality, allowing the visitor to board the train without any problems while wearing the VR headset. This is followed seamlessly by the actual VR ride on the roller coaster. Due to the use of state-of-the-art technology, capacity fluctuations and temporary breaks in operations are to be expected, as this time must be used for fine adjustment and recalibration of the system. You will need a time ticket worth €7 for the journey. Please note: the maximum height for Eurosat Coastiality passengers is 1.95 m. Safety note: Persons with a large thigh and/or body circumference may not be able to be transported. We recommend a sample in our test seat.
