Bistro Tomi Ungerer

A French bistro, like in the middle of Lyon! Enjoy our typical French dishes such as tarte flambée, café au lait and a rich cake buffet. Since the winter of 2021, we have been dedicating our small bistro to the French graphic artist, caricaturist and author Tomi Ungerer: "Bistro La Cigale" becomes "Bistro Tomi Ungerer". Born in Strasbourg, Tomi Ungerer is not only known for his children's books (including "The Three Robbers"), but also for the fact that he always questioned social norms, conventions and politics with and in his works of art. Throughout his life, he was committed to German-French friendship and a united Europe. In the bistro, numerous drawings, books and memories by Ungerer can be admired, because the Alsatian was a close friend of the Mack family and Europa-Park and even contributed his own design ideas.
